A result of pandemic pets and the affordable housing crisis, Minneapolis pets are being surrendered to shelters and animal rescues alike at alarming rates.

City Attorney’s Office will present rent control legislation to the City Council by the end of June that, if passed, would be on the 2023 November ballot.
