The driver fair wage ordinance is now scheduled to take effect July 1 to give new companies more time to prepare to operate in the city.
The Minneapolis City Council plans to reconsider the Fair Rides ordinance on April 11 after Uber and Lyft announced a plan to leave the area on May 1.

With Uber and Lyft gone, the road ahead is unclear
