The University of Minnesota collected Native ancestor remains and associated funerary objects nearly 100 years ago and has since been non-compliant with a federal law requiring the inventory and return of all collections.

After a two year delay due to COVID-19 concerns, the Weisman Art Museum Teen Architecture Workshop, led by University architecture students, returns for its 22nd year of programming to continue teaching Minnesota teens the building blocks of architecture.
