The St. Paul Farmers' Market and the Minneapolis Farmers' Market both open for the season on Saturday, the Pioneer Press reported.
The St. Paul market is located on Fifth Street and the Minneapolis market is on North Lyndale. They both offer vegetables, fruits, plants, meats and cheeses.
The University of Minnesota Farmers' Market does not open until July 13, and the Mill City Farmers' Market opens May 12.
There are more than 20 farmers' markets in the area, according to the Star Tribune. They recommend bringing small bills to pay with cash.
