At halftime, Minnesota trails Purdue 27-24. Emily Fox and Brittany McCoy lead the Gophers with seven points a piece.
Michigan State picked up the overtime win over Indiana during the first half of the Gophers game, putting the Spartans at 11-3 in the conference. While Minnesota cannot be tied for first place even with a win tonight, they could find themselves in second.
Ohio State just lost 85-75 to Iowa, the team that Minnesota beat on Sunday. If the Gophers come back to win against the Boilermakers tonight, they will be tied for second place in the conference with Ohio State at 10-3.
If Minnesota loses, it will fall to fourth in the conference behind Purdue, Ohio State and Michigan State.
Check back for the Gophers full game story later this evening.
