It’s time for new member orientation at the nation’s capital this week. All of the newly elected officials are filing in for their “freshmen orientations” today.
Until these new politicians are sworn in on January 3, they will be working in DC to set up their new offices.
Minnesota Public Radio talked with newcomer Rick Nolan. He turns out to be not-so-much of a newcomer. Nolan actually was a representative in the 1970’s when he served three consecutive terms.
According to MPR, Nolan is optimistic about his new term. In the MPR article from today, there is a picture of Nolan holding his new member pass. He looks just like a kid in a candy shop, ready to get to work.
