University of Minnesota Board of Regents executive director and corporate secretary Ann Cieslak announced she will retire June 17 after 13 years due to medical reasons.
Board Chair Linda Cohen said in a press release Cieslak will be deeply missed.
“Being a regent is the ultimate volunteer appointment, and the opportunity to serve as board secretary is a distinct honor,” Cieslak said in a press release.
Brian Steeves will be the interim executive director until the board fills her position, University spokesman Chuck Tombarge said.
