At the Pitchfork Music Festival this past weekend, there was more to check out than the music.Two huge tents were filled with vendors of all sorts. There was a plethora of records, posters, custom jewelry and hip articles of clothing for the music fans to browse through and purchase.

One vendor that really caught my eye was megan lee designs. Based in the Chicagoland area, their stand had really neat, unique t-shirts and other items that had funny Midwestern puns printed on them. There were tanks with "Midwest is Best" printed in hearts, bags with hand drawn animals and my personal favorite; the state puns. With a background of each respective Midwestern state, these said things like "hot daMN," "IL love you forever," "I'm a manIAc for you" and "I'm IN love."

All apparel and gear is designed by Megan Lee herself, a fulltime, totally rad craftstress.I don't think I'm the only one tired of East coast/ West coast rivalry hogging all the spotlight. Hat's off to this indie company reppin' the Midwestern pride.
