Lauded singer-songwriter Aimee Mann released her eighth solo album, Charmer, this past Tuesday. She may be over 50, but her tunes have a youthful spunk that some singers half her age have trouble producing.

Lead single, Charmer, is a standout. The blend of girl-power and a catchy chorus are accented wonderfully by a pinch of melancholy. This tune is a great tune for zoning out on the campus connector or stomping down the Washington Avenue Bridge.
