Minneapolis/St. Paul is the 16th most hipster city in America, according to a Travel & Leisure interpretation of survey responses on topics ranging from intelligence to abundance of flea markets.
Residents and visitors participated in the survey, which ranked Minneapolis/St. Paul as first in cleanliness, second in intelligence and fourth in theater/performance art.
They gave Minneapolis/St. Paul the hipster ranking because of its "arts-loving nerd factor" and the high number of coffee places. The best city for hipsters, according to the article, was Seattle.
Unfortunately, the survey also rated the Twin Cities as the worst Spring Break destination and the second worst place to be during Valentine's Day and winter. Survey respondents rated Chicago as the worst city in winter.
