The Twin Cities Pride Festival is in full swing, and if you aren’t already checking out the huge number of live bands playing in Loring Park, A&E’s compiled some other spots for you to visit on your Pride Weekend.
Okay, it’s possible that you weren’t planning on tying the knot to get in the Pride spirit, but the facilities the festival is offering allow for lasting memories to be made this weekend. Deciding to get married on a whim might be something to think twice about, though, you could easily stop by and peek at a ceremony today to feel the love in the air.
— Beer!
What more is there to say? Over in the “Yellow Zone” of the Pride Map there is the Loring Beer Garden, keeping Willow Street chock full of everything from Bud Light to craft beers. It’s a special day when you can walk in public with a brew in your hand; take advantage of it.
Intermedia Arts annually holds “Queertopia,” a cabaret featuring all different types of live performance. The evening will include dance, drag, theater and more with the talents of many local artists and performance collectives.
Keep the party going into the night at The Nomad World Pub with dancing, food trucks and bonfires. Pride is a time to get involved with your community and maybe even participate in a little debauchery, so have at it, campers.
