University extends travel restrictions as logistics remain uncertain

The restrictions, recently extended through Sept. 30, limit international travel by faculty, staff and students. But where University members can go will mostly depend on what countries allow them in.
Although air quality in Minnesota is generally good and improving, an environmental economist at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency attributes 1,000–2,000 deaths a year to air pollution in the Twin Cities metro.
