No Man’s Land Film Festival shreds the adventure film stereotype

The fest is making a Minneapolis pit stop to showcase its women adventure athlete-focused films.
Lamia Abukhadra, a local Palestinian-American artist, works on a print in her home studio on Saturday, Oct. 20. Abukhadra graduated from the University last spring and since then has taken the local art scene by storm with her politically-driven work. It often deals with her Palestinian heritage and tries to dismantle colonialist narratives.
