Gov. Mark Dayton has proposed around $60 million more in capital funding than the University requested for the 2018 bonding session.

The standoff at the Graduate Hotel has been going on for over 36 hours.
Police are negotiating with at least one individual inside the Graduate Hotel as of Monday evening. “We’ve been talking to that individual and asking them to come out for some time now,” UMPD Police Chief Matt Clark said Monday morning.
