Araia Breedlove
Araia Breedlove is The Daily's Native American beat reporter. Although a new position, advocating for Native American rights is nothing new for Araia. Two year board member of the American Indian Student Cultural Center, and Intern at the Circle of Indigenous Nations, she is familiar with the ins-and outs when it comes to Indigenous issues on campus. This is her last semester at the University of Minnesota, graduating in Journalism, where she has already accepted a job back at her reservation in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin as the Tribal Media Coordinator and Public Relations.
