Lexy Ramler competes on the beam at the Maturi Pavillion on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020.

For just the fourth time in the history of the Gophers’ women’s gymnastics program, Lexy Ramler scored a perfect 10 on the balance beam in Minnesota’s 196.300-195.225 victory over Illinois on Saturday.

She joins Hanna Nordquist and teammate Ivy Lu as the only women to complete the feat on the balance beam.

What’s more impressive is that it’s the second 10 in as many weeks for the junior from St. Michael. Ramler scored her first perfect-10 score on the balance beam in the Rutgers Quad meet on Jan. 18. It was the first 10 to be scored at Maturi Pavilion in any event.
