Humphrey School fellow and former Speaker of the Minnesota House Steve Sviguum explains the process of passing a bill in a workshop entitled  “Governing 101” on September 6, 2013 in Sabathani Community Center. Sviguum partnered with Isuroon, a Minneapolis-based organization dedicated to Somali women’s health issues, to give a series of workshops to teach Somali men and women about the Legislative process.
