Eleanor King is a Multimedia Editor at the Minnesota Daily. Growing up in a small town in Minnesota, there wasn't much to do besides playing with her family's digital camera, so Eleanor got to foster her love for photography from an early age. She enjoys integrating elements of nature and industrial life into her photography, taking inspiration from her life in the Twin Cities and from her moments in rural life back home. Eleanor enjoys collecting digital and film cameras that she finds at thrift stores, her best find being a $50 Samsung camera that she thrifted in 2020 and now relies on for her entire career. When she's not taking photos, she's reading, running, or playing with her beloved cat, Sonic.
