The Minnesota National Guard is mobilizing to act as support to other local law enforcement during this weekend’s protests, announced Bob Jacobson, the commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
“I am appreciative of our state partners, including the Minnesota National Guard, State Patrol, the Department of Natural Resources, MetroTransit and the University of Minnesota, who all stand ready to uphold public safety,” Jacobson said in Friday’s press conference.
“March Against Minnesota Fraud,” organized by conservative influencer Jake Lang, is planned for Saturday at 12 p.m. at Minneapolis City Hall.
According to the Minnesota Star Tribune, Rep. Mohamud Noor said he is fearful of the protest moving to areas with high Somali populations, such as the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood. Activists also expect the protest to travel through the University of Minnesota campus.
The protest, which Lang broadcasted on X, calls to “take back” the state from Democrats, following President Donald Trump’s recent scrutiny of Minnesota’s Somali community. The “crusaders”, as Lang called the members of the protest in his X post, plan to start at Minneapolis’ city hall.
The Minneapolis Police Inspector Bill Peterson told Minneapolis residents Tuesday in a monthly community safety meeting that the city has prepared for the event, adding that they are “hyper-aware” that the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood could be a target due to their large Somali population.

This is pathetic, since when do citizens March to protest against white collar criminals ? They don’t and this just a lie to be in Minneapolis to make a statement of racism !

Ironic that the NG is called up for a right wing protest but yet left wing protests go unchecked. The quote “those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it” comes to mind. Remember the George Floyd riots.. er uh I mean protests? Burning and looting? Where was the NG to protect innocent business owners getting looted? This once great state known for Minnesota nice has degraded to liberal hate and protection for criminals. A state riddled with fraud, a governor who essentially declared war with the US has lost it all.
I have lived in Minnesota for 45+ years and it is a shame that I no longer want to go near Minneapolis/St Paul as it has been ruined by the bleeding hearts of the misled purple and blue who blindly vote for leaders like Walz and Omar. Please stop the cr@p and let ICE remove the criminals and illegals!! I was not born on US soil but love the USA more than any country, served in the US Army and made a great life for myself and my family…. THE LEGAL WAY! We are Americans first and foremost and should uphold our immigration laws the same as every other country.
